Quote from Jordan Zelniker, CIO, Econoco Corporation on Wayfinders Corporate Retreats

“We are still feeling the good vibes from Monday!  Even though it didn’t feel like a Monday!  Hahaha.

Thank you again for putting together such an impactful experience for our team.  It really set the stage for a very productive 2-day planning session.  We got A LOT done!

Really appreciate all you did.”

“As a proud parent of two Wayfinders kids (12 &9), I enthusiastically attest to my immense love and admiration for this incredible program!”

  • “From the very beginning, it was evident that Wayfinders on the Hudson was more than just a typical after-school program. Gwen and Leah lead an exceptional team of mentors and facilitators who are so gifted the art of guiding individuals on their unique journeys, exuding warmth and genuine care for every child. I feel utmost confidence that my children are in excellent hands, where they are truly valued and encouraged at every step.

Throughout the program, my kids have experienced a diverse range of activities and workshops that sparked their curiosity and ignited their passions. The skill-building sessions have equipped them with valuable tools and knowledge that will undoubtedly serve them well in the future. They have gained valuable subtle self-discovery skills and actively participate in mindfulness activities, fostering personal growth and self-awareness in this nurturing environment.

A standout aspect of this program is its strong emphasis on fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among the participants. My children quickly formed close bonds with their fellow Wayfinders, becoming cherished friends and allies. Together, they shared dreams and aspirations, celebrated achievements, and offered unwavering support through every challenge. It is heartwarming to witness their growth within such a supportive and uplifting environment.

The hidden convenience of the Lenior Preserve adds a remarkable touch that makes this experience truly special. The peace and beauty of the setting serve as the perfect backdrop for introspection and self-discovery. Surrounded by nature's beauty, my children are inspired to explore their inner selves and appreciate the world around them in new ways.

Wayfinders has undeniably become the highlight of our children's week, holding a special place in their hearts. They absolutely adore the program, and their contagious excitement and enthusiasm for each session are heartwarming. Witnessing their personal and social growth through Wayfinders has been truly fulfilling. The program's unique blend of enriching activities, a supportive community, and a picturesque setting make it an extraordinary and cherished favorite among all their activities.

I am truly amazed by the profound impact the Wayfinders program has had on my children, and as a testament to its transformative influence I wanted to share an unforgettable experience our family recently had....During our last family vacation at a remote beach location, an unexpected power outage one night left the entire region in complete darkness. It was in that dark moment that my 12 year old son Leo’s Wayfinders experience shone most brightly. Drawing from the guided meditation sessions he had learned in the program, Leo took the lead, guiding our family outside to the tranquil dock overlooking the vast ocean. Encouraging us to lie down, he gently instructed everyone to take deep, calming breaths. Under a sky adorned with countless stars and only the sound of the ocean waves, Leo skillfully guided our family through a soothing meditation. It was a truly magical and enchanting experience that brought us all closer together. I will remember that sky full of stars forever- laying there in quiet contemplation, surrounded by the wonders of nature and the profound serenity of the moment. I am incredibly grateful for moments like that- and I can’t help but reflect on how the seed for this extraordinary experience was planted during Leo’s time with Wayfinders, which has instilled in him a keen sense of mindfulness, self-discovery, and the desire to share such enriching moments with those he loves.

To any parents considering enrolling their children in this program, I wholeheartedly endorse it. Wayfinders on the Hudson provides an unforgettable journey of self-discovery and empowerment, nurturing, challenging, and supporting children to become the best versions of themselves. It has been an invaluable experience for my children, and I am certain it will be for yours too.”

  • “I learned that I like being in nature- I like it more than I thought. It was really fun being in the woods, being around trees and plants. It surprised me how open I was to meet new people. Usually I am not really up for it. I met so many new people and in order to enjoy myself, I needed to interact.”

It's beautiful outside. It's easier than you think to connect with new people that you have never met before. I am a very social person but I was surprised that I was so trusting of new people.”
